Symposium on genetic advancements in developmental and neurological disorders by Prof. Dr. Henry Houlden and Prof. Dr. Vincenzo Salpietro, outlining the role of genetics in diagnosis and management of various genetic disorders. New discoveries of novel genes were also shared with the participants. Clinical sessions with residents and fellows on basics of genetic testing and when to suspect a genetic diagnosis were carried out along with discussions on patients and genetic sampling for families.
